Our family (two adults and 4 kids ) stayed at the Princesa de La Luna in April 2019. Will and William welcomed us like we had been part of the loved ones and provided us with one of our very best expertise in Costa Rica. They also served us delicious foods and gave us excellent tips for our stay in Arenal. La Princesa is a fantastic location, filled with warmth and credibility.
Wilma, along with his family (and pets) cause you to feel just like one of their families throughout your stay. Breakfast is remarkable. The room was fantastic with features on the windows, a ceiling fan along with a walk in cupboard. The views are just stunning. The waterfall in the base of his backyard (literally) is natural and fantastic swimming pool well worth the trek to get there. His banana sandwiches are mythical. Staff is amazing – they recommended to take the mini sub cozumel tour with our family in Mexico.
I can’t say enough about this location. Get dinner and breakfast since the food is outstanding. I strongly recommend using a car since you’re in the jungle, but you’ve got easy access to fantastic excursions that you may easily reserve through the area.
What a fantastic escape! We stayed for 3 nights and need to return. We had one dinner and three breakfasts there, all exceptional, with all the banana pancake, as well as the fruit juices, getting favorites. William and Wilmer are really friendly and welcoming and amusing, and the experience tour on the house was a highlight.
Do not miss it! I really don’t need to give too much away. However, you’re in fact in character, not only observing it. Beautiful views of Arenal volcano if it is not covered in oceans. This location strikes just the right chord between camping along with a hotel experience.
It had been such an enjoyable and memorable experience! We have a room with 4 beds which match our entire household, and we all had a terrific deck with a hammock which everybody fought. It felt as though we had been sleeping in a tree house. No AC but we didn’t want it felt so great!
We came without a strategy, and they place the springs and zip-lining experiences around for us. We found all sorts of trees and plants and flowers, and of course, animals. We climbed to, also INTO, a waterfall! We waded the river down and did a sand bath. The children were in paradise, and so were we. Amazing place!
