We had been out searching for somewhere to dine on 5th Avenue and ran to a couple we knew from our hotel, and they encouraged us to join them. We were treated to our host Jorge. I want all people could be like him. Attentive, humorous and made sure our experience made us need to return. I was pleasantly surprised that it was yummy.
Done to perfection which is unique in Mexico. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were yummy. I went with all the clam chowder for a starter. The bread was hot and delicious. I would return even if the food were average. Jorge made our final evening on vacation the greatest. I hope he never leaves!
My dad and I walked down 5th ave, searching for somewhere to eat dinner. The staff was welcoming, attentive and friendly. Froylan and Rufino were extremely helpful and made our supper even better. I’ve been to Playa on many occasions, and I have never had such a fantastic meal. The organic salad was quite fresh and large enough to share. The steaks were out of this world, cooked to perfection. They were of high quality and one of the best we have ever had. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner Froylan and Rufino! Additionally, amazing cocktails and great people watching!
Among the best steakhouses in Playa Del Carmen. Slightly pricy, but if you do need some exotic meat and dining experience that is where to go! You’ll find it on the main restaurant strip “Quinta Avenida”. Our waiter mentioned the cozumel snorkeling tours we want to take the next time. Thank you!
Fantastic spot right off Quinta Ave. They have an excellent drink selection using fresh herbs, ” The Golden Margarita was fantastic, and they’ll make it TO-Go. High-end spirits and excellent bar service.
We had dinner in this place on a Thursday evening the air, and the location is quite lovely. The beans were very friendly and tasty. The only disappointed our server by the name of Froylan was very arrogant and unpleasant he was interested in was that customers are not tipping him with just a little bit more attention and politeness he’d do better.
Great steak dinner last night at Sur Steakhouse. Had some superb wine with all the cowboy ribeye. The seasoning was excellent and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Service was excellent, and server Foylan did a great job.
